How should we dress for our family session?
Think coordinated, not matching. Choose a soft color palette with neutrals or muted tones and mix textures for a timeless look. Solid colors photograph best, with minimal patterns and no logos or neon.
Comfort is key — if you can move, laugh, and play, your photos will feel natural and authentic. When in doubt, keep it simple and feel free to reach out for outfit help!
What to expect from your session?
I specialize in a combination of portrait photography and lifestyle portraits. During our session, we will start with a few poses looking at the camera, followed by a more relaxed and natural lifestyle approach. Unlike posed photography, this style focuses on capturing genuine emotions and showcasing them in stunning images. While I can suggest various activities for subjects to engage in, I won't direct them to look at the camera or pose in a specific manner. My ultimate goal is to create beautiful images that truly reflect the essence of the moment.
When should I schedule a newborn session?
I recommend scheduling our newborn session ideally between days 8-10. This timeframe works well because the first few days (1-4) are usually spent in the hospital or birthing center, transitioning back home. It's important to note that babies born via C-section might require a slightly longer hospital stay compared to those born through a V birth.
